FOLK FESTIVAL “STRANDJA, MY  CRADLE” – TSAREVO

It is held under the patronage of the mayor of Tsarevo, and the support of the municipality. Organizer of the event is the community center “G. Kondolov.” The main aim of the festival is to promote the folklore of Strandja.

INTERNATIONAL YOUTH ARTS  FESTIVAL  “PRIESTS OF THE MUSES” – TSAREVO

Organizers of the festival are the association “Temp ​​Art” and the Municipality of Tsarevo. The festival  is under the patronage of the Ambassador of the Russian Federation Yuri Isakov. The participants are over 300, and they represent all types of art on the stage of the festival.

FIRE – DANCES IN THE VILLAGE OF BULGARI – TSAREVO

Today, the village of  Bulgari is the only fire – dance settlement in Bulgaria. According to tradition, the dancers play in the evening on the day of Constantine and Helena (the night of 3^rd  to 4^th  June in the old style). The custom is widespread in the early 20th century in several Bulgarian and Greek villages in Eastern Thrace, part of which in 1913 were in Bulgaria, and some remain in Turkey.
